Located in Andover MA, Vicor Corp. currently has the following opportunity: "Design Systems Administrator" Define, develop , implement and support computer-aided design systems that increase productivity of both Vicor Engineering, as well as users of engineering data. Resolve technical issues related to the implementation, use, and integration of CAD and CAE System. Ensure that adequate procedures are defined and executed for data retention and backup of CAD and CAE data. Provide liaison for officially supported CAD and CAE applications between engineering community and product developers/third party support providers, Officially supported CAD and CAE packages include ME10, Solid Designer, Viewlogic, PADS, and Mentor, Assist in the evaluation of new CAD packages, especially with respect to hardware and software requirements and compatibility with existing and planned Vicor standards, soliciting help from operations group, as appropriate.
