Setting tool defaults in annotator

Does anyone know how I can set my tool defaults (text, ref line, symbols, and hatching) so they're the same whenever I start Annotator? Thanks

In the drawer "personality" you should find a file "am_customize". Otherwise create a copy of "am_customize.orig". There are lots of customization possibilities in this file. Also have a look at the menu Help/Product/Annotation Customization Page

Since version 8 or 9 you can also use the environment file. When you only want to change some specific things it is a good idea to copy the settings out of the Annotation section of env file and put them into (your) am_customize file. regards. W.
