Anyone who got the code for broken views?

since I can't find the code for the broken view workaround in the help (goodies) I wonder if there is anyone who got it or maybe knows where I might find it?

Are you saying that you cannot load the goodie with one of the following commands?

(load "goodies/am_broke") for Unix
(load "am_broke") for Windows

Exactly, and the version is 11.60.

Works like a charm for me (using OSDM 11.60 on Windows). You need to activate Annotation first, and loading the goody doesn't pop up any UI directly, but only adds a new command to the toolbox. Maybe you just didn't look there?

If loading the goody fails in any way, you should receive an error message. Do you get a message? If so, what does it say?

It works for me as well in 11.60. If it is not working for you there might be something wrong with your installation.

It appears that the goody produces non-associative text for the "dimension".

Aside from the coordinate-dimension work-around above, is there a way to get real dimensions on broken views?

Not that I have found. I have "lack of ability to handle broken views cleanly" on my list of major Annotation weaknesses. (Others are lack of true auxiliary views and exploded views.)
