Can I change the radius of a toroid???

Just curious: is there a trick to change the radius of a toroid face? For instance, I have some wiring (see picture), and now I want the "bends" to be "less sharp". The only way I know now is to punch out the bend and model a new one.
I use a Lisp goodie "piping" to make cables, and with "offset" I can easily change cable thickness afterwards, but the bends trickier....
