If I draw a left hand helix (pitch 180 mm, 1 turn) the lead are not constant. The total pitch are Ok but inbetween the lead varies.

Simpel control:
place workplanes with 5 mm distance, the profile should have turned 10 deg - but it does not.

The error are very small, but enough to make a helical gear incorrect. (lead angle variation 0.05 deg)!!!!

Have anyone the same problem or is it just me :-)

I use OSDM 2002+ 11.6B

I got the same thing where I've tried to create a slot on a shaft as a "cam follower"

I think then the solution might be to have a new sweep function to allow us to remove material with a 3D tool instead then 2D. That will help us to do the undercut for gears and cam follower.
