Hi folks,
my problem is "translation" of a Annotation .mi to Me10 8.5 file.
When I save a Mi file from a fully dimensioned Drawing of a model with scale factors, sectioned views, details, ecc... and I lod it in Me10 I have a lot of porblems with scale factors, parts (layer??), and the file is can't be modified by an Me10 user.
Did some of you solve this problem????
Thank you

What version of Annotation are you saving the file from? Each version of Anno and ME10 are designed to work with a specific version MI file. If you are loading a MI file from a recent version of Anno into ME10 8.5 (which is pretty old), this could be the problem.

I didn't find annotation version, I know Onespace modelling version.
It's 11.6.
But the problem, I think, is not only caused by different versions.
What do you think?

Your Annotation version is the same as you Modeling version, therefore it's 11.6.
11.6 Annotation stores 2.80 mi format, and version 8.x ME10 uses 2.40 mi format.
I would recommend that you load a later version of Drafting (11.x).

The Modeling and Annotation version are the same. I think versions is your problem. Data files from any application are rarely backward compatible and you are going three major releases backward. Drafting/ME10 can save files into older formats (see the STORE_x.xx commands in Help). If you can find someone with a newer version of ME10/Drafting, you might be able to load the drawing then save it to the 8.5 format. However, data can still be lost when you save to an older format. My recommendation is to get your ME10 updated to Drafting 11.6.
