If I use OSD ver 14 at work and PE edition at home, what is the best way to transfer files between them? In PE, it creates *.pk2 and *.bd2 but ver 14 can't read those (or create them). It seems as though *.stp files are the only way. Is that correct? Also, in PE, is there any way to create *.dxf or *.dwg files? Thanks.

Modeling PE is a free product designed to show new users the power of Dynamic Modeling. It was not meant to replace existing CoCreate products. As such, Modeling PE does not support exporting data in the standard neutral formats. You can import IGES 3D and STEP. You can also load 2D-data in the form of .dxf and dwg. You can also load 2D .mi files from other CoCreate products. You cannot export to any of the standard 3D formats, such as IGES, STEP or SAT. The .pk2 and bd2 formats are not compatable with other CoCreate products.

If you decide to purchase OneSpace Modeling, CoCreate can convert your OneSpace Modeling PE design data into a format that is directly readable by our standard OneSpace Modeling. You can send an email request to CoCreate for details of how we can convert the data. You'll find the right email address here ...www.cocreate.com/ww_offices.cfm
