In some isometric view, we want to see a part that can be see in 3D because the the part is translucide/transparent, but hidden in 2D without to having all the hidden line of the other part behind it. Let call that a "one level hidden line", or a "line that you can see in 3D".

Econofast already removing line that we cannot see (to small and...). I don't know if it's possible to use the same technic to get all the line we can see. Substract to original econofast from the other econofast, and all those line should be in hidden line (or other format that will use the color of normal line and the line type of hidden, useful with partcolor!). Now you can draw the original econofast in normal lines added with the formatted hidden lines.

I got to many problem with multiple cutaway/detail and partial view in the same view just to get that results. So we are cheating by putting 2 view one over the other one... That's working, but not so well.

Not sure if I understand this correctly, but it sounds like what you really want is the capability to control the visibility of hidden lines per part, right?

Yes! I didn't thought about that way, but that should work better then the idea I've got.

Thanks Claus
