Hello everyone

I just needed to update everyone on recent changes in my life. Due to finishing all of the work that HP Vancouver assigned me ahead of schedule, I have now relocated in the Orlando Florida area and I am loving it. New surroundings, new apartment, beautiful weather, what more can I say. So, if anyone out there needs a mechanical designer with Solid Designer skills in both the 3D and 2D area, I am your guy. "Call me".

Can you tell me if you have any luck in the search for job in Florida?
I'm planning to move also to Tampa, FL and I have same experience in SolidDesign as you.

Hello there,

I have found absolutely no one that uses Solid Designer down here in Orlando. I am not sure about the Tampa area but my guess is that it is slim there as well. It is my guess that because of the space program, everyone either uses AutoCad or ProE. At least that is what I have found to be the case. It would help if you have a secret clearance. I think that Lockheed Martin might take a chance on you if that were the case. Anyway, keep me posted as to any progress you make and I will surely do the same. I am now employed by Disney and the job had absolutely nothing to do with any CAD program.

Well, since nothing is happening (and it looks like even less is going to happen in the near future), I have decided to call it a day and I am heading into the sunset. If you have any questions, I still go to this site from time to time. Otherwise, it's been real. Good luck out there.

I am sorry to say that I can't help you. I was never able to find work here using Solid Designer. Now if you have AutoCad experience, just get on Monster.com and you will find work.
