We have a problem importing to Data Manager 11.61 on a PC client via unix discs that is available via samba. We have a P:\ that is available from a Windows server and that shows up in Design Manager. We also have a U:\ that is available from the same unix server as Design Manager is running on via samba but it does not show up in Design manager. It is possible to load and store to U:\ from SolidDesigner and ME10.

Any suggestions?

Just to clarify:

You have a PC w/ ddm 11.61 installed on it.

Your file server and data base server and Samba are running on a unix server.

You cant load a file to your PC from the database on the unix server.

Is this correct?

Yes, that's correct but ... when I told my boss about the problem he just said: I never defined import from U:\ in the csl file. So it was just a configuration that he fixed in a matter of minutes.
