Dynamic relations angle range?

I want to use relations to make an energy chain assembly. Each link can rotate from 0 to 50 degrees. I want to fix both ends and then move one end through a motion path and make the energy chain follow. I've got the parts positioned, but I can't figure out how to create the angular relation so that it will assume the proper position and stop if it reaches the limit. Does anybody have experience with this?

sounds like you need to use an angle relation with an if/then/else statement to difine when the motion stops. Otherwise you must manipulate the angle annimation settings to define when the motion stops.
