Pulling title block information

I have created a Lisp routine for Annotator running on HP-UX for plotting drawings to a pdf file. But I want to enhance this routine to pull the title block information form WorkManager to create string that will be used as the name of the file. How do I go about this in Lisp to talk to WorkManager to gather this information, any hints or pointers would be great.
