Grid spacing versus view scale

I would like the grid spacing to stay at a constant dimension, however, if I add a dimension or geometry to the view, the grid resizes to the view scale.

Is there a setting to stop annotator from doing this?

I fear you're out of luck..

There's no setting in Annotator.. Doing a dimension contains a 'edit_part'... so the grid is adjusted to that scaled part.

I also do not know a ME10 setting which makes the grid distance idependend from scale.
