ModelManager

Anybody out there using the new OneSpaceModelManager module? I would like to talk to someone who is using it. We are getting ready to implement this PDM but would like some user feedback.

We are deploying ModelManager to organise our CAD part database. It has the capability to access files from both the PDM database and project servers, which will reduce duplication and revision confusion. The main caveat is that everyone on a project must buy in and use it or else the non-users will not have access to the current part models. This requires an adjustment in some people's work process, but the benefits and future demands outweigh the startup/learning incoveniences. As with any software, the problems are coordinating the current evolved work model to fit the confines of the program.
