View Full Version : Loading an Annotator/ME10 drawing

I'm using WM v5.0, SD v6.1, & ME10 v8.7. When I go to load an me_drawing into ME10 from WM, if I have annotator loaded, it will automatically load into annotator. Then, in SD, I turn off annotator & WM. I go back to load the me_drawing and it will still load into annotator, even though it's shut off! I found the only solution is to exit SD, and only then it will load into ME10. I also noticed, the opposite thing happens when trying to load an sd_drawing (it will load into ME10). Has this happened to anyone else out there or does anyone know a fix? Your help would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance! Andy

I checked with CoCreate & here's what they say: WM cannot differ if the files are created in ME10 or Annotation. It will load the drawing to the Application that has had the last contact to WM. You can of course save the drawings in two diffferent classes. One for Annotation "sd_drawing" and one for ME10 "me_drawing". That's how you can differ on WM side. But it is not possible to differ through the Load command.

Our machines seem to be loading sd_drawing into ME10 and me_drawing into annotator. This should clear up the class issue with regards to wm. This is periodic, there must be annother variable involved, but we are unsure of what it is. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Call Pramod Nambiar at VDS (Santa Clara office), he is a systems "guru" and I'm sure will know how to resolve the issue. Lupe Escamilla
