SD to MasterCAM

I am looking for someone with some recent experience transferring from SD to MasterCAM and can give me the lowdown on best format (IGES, STEP, ACIS, etc) and proper settings. Thanks.

I have translated a few files to Mastercam from SD version 7.11 using IGES and the default settings. There were a few bogus lines that came across, but nothing that prevented making a good toolpath. Bruce
