I posted a message earlier this year about the problem with translating PCB layouts using PADS to ME10 to create assy, fab drawings ect. A third party package from Router Solution solved this problem with capabilites to translate between DXF, HPGL, HPGLII, and Gerber in both directions. Its called CAMCAD and you can get the info at http://www.rsi-inc.com/ Its $399.00 for the package.
