Dimension Parallel Line Offset

How can I change the spacing between consecutive parallel dimension lines created using Datum Long, Datum Short, or Coordinate dimensioning? When I am using Basics and thus have the text boxed, the spacing isn't quite enough - especially on a view with many features to dim. and the need to keep the view scale small. Thanks in advance.

DIM_DATUM_STEP specifies the space between the dimension lines of a datum dimension. This value is used for new datum dimensions, and can be changed within a DIM_DATUM command.
