Hello,

We're having a lot of issues using the Nvidia Quadro4 700 XGL. One of current users is running 11.5 and can not print. He's running on windows NT and we've installed the latest drivers for the card. But it appears he can not print HR. I realize the card is not certified for NT systems, but we are trying to unify or current hardware configuration and this is the card we decided to buy. Our eventual goal is to upgrade our OS to windows XP. Our decision to buy this card was based on our current test environment running XP. We did not forsee any problems with installing the card on an NT Platform. In fact we thought it would rid our problems with our old card which was the Oxygen GVX1 Pro. But we are still having problems. The user is running a 900mhz with 1 gig of ram. His current pagefile is set at 1800mb. His resolution 1280x1024 and a refresh rate of 70mhz. The printing issues started to occur with the installation and upgrade of OSDM version 11a to 11.5.

Any suggestions to trouble shoot and optimize this card per NT and 11.5 would be great.

Did you get the latest drivers from the card manufacturer or the nVidia web site? We have found that the reference drivers from nVidia work better than those from the card manufacturers. They may not have all the bells and whistles, but are more stable and less prone to problems running SolidDesigner. You can download them from www.nvidia.com.

Yes we did get them from NVIDIA website.

Since it broke going from 11.0 to 11.5, you might try installing the just released 11.6 code. Contact your CoCreate rep for instructions on getting 11.6.

Sorry about the last post. That was just a freak occurence. Well I've removed 11.5 and upgraded to version 11.6. The program ran smoothly for about a week. Now it's starting to act up again and will freeze while viewing a model. :confused: :mad: :mad: :confused: Anyone have any ideas? Just a refresher. The user machine is a 900 with 1 gig of ram. Nvidia Quadro 4. When I ungraded to 11.5 the system would not do a HR print. When I upgraded to 11.6 the system will frequently crash while viewing a model. 11.0 was stable. I'm thinking about moving back to 11.0

I got an computer there failed on HR print.
The problem appears like a small part of the picture are ok.
I fix the problem with

(prim-vp-enable-hw-offscreen-rendering nil)

and it work perfect.

try it if you got an problem.
