Hatching section views

Is there any way to get hatching on section view without the annotator module?

Your question is unclear. I'm assuming that you are using ME10 instead of annotator to document a SD model. If this is the case you can hatch in ME10. If I misunderstood, please clarify your question.

Which version do you use ? From 6.0 on, section faces are also hatched automatically by default in the 'old' layout mode. BUT hatchs are only realized in MI, that is, you will see the hatchs only in ME10 (MI) and not in SD. In order to customize the behaviour you can switch on/off the creation by entering following sequence in the command line: (auto-section-hatch t/nil) (SET_SECTION_HATCH_FLAG t/nil)
