Does anyone know what is the latest rev of the mechanica translator for solid designer. We have version 17 (but we are running mechanica 20). Our VAR says its the latest but I doubt that cocreate is three revs behind. Anyone know.

Ty, it may well be that 17 is the last version. As I understand it, Mechanica was aquired by PTC (Pro-E). I believe that the current FEA package uses NASTRANS and not Mechanica. I hope someone from CoCreate can get you a better answer.

There is a SolidDesigner 6.0 Patch for Export into Pro/MECHANICA V20 available. You can get the patch from your CoCreate reseller or CoCreate Support if necessary. The patch is an integral part of SolidDesigner 6.10 on all platforms so you won't need a patch. 6.10 should begin shipping in a couple of weeks.
