Is there a way to make your plotter settings (paper size, plot device, etc) permanent so they do not have to be entered each time you want to plot. (SD 6.0)

Dear, if you want to permanent plotter settings, please refer to am_plot_cusotmize file and modify it. Good Luck!

Paul, assuming that your using SD in NT 4.0. The only way to have the printer stayed configured is to have "Administrator Privliages". That is, you must log in as Administrator" to keep your printer/plotter defined everytime you use them.

I used the recorder to create a macro to make the plot settings. Then I created a toolbar button to activate it.
