Anyone out there running SD/Annotation v6.0 on a Kayak WX with an AccelEclipse II video card. You must have purchased this machine in 1998, otherwise you are using the older AccelEclipse I video card. Wondering if your having the same video problems we are having: 1) Menu Buttons either stay depressed or will not depress. 2) Clipping plane command seems to be running while rotating a model, even though it is shut off. Model geometry gets cutoff while rotating. 3) 2D circles/arcs are invisible unless at a certain zoom level. 4) Mouse trails when making or moving any 2D geometry. 5) A 3 second lag the first time trying to rotate a solid model in SD. 6) A 3 second lag (always) when rotating the model in Annotation. 7) Updating new views in Annotation only to have them change to 1 pixel in size, even though your scale is 1:1, with no way of making them 1:1

I have not heard of anything specific about this card. Have you checked www.accelgraphics.com for new drivers?

Peter,
I have tried to reproduce cases 1) to 5) from your list. I found problems in displaying circle/arc construction geometry when zooming far out. AccelGraphics is now working on a driver fix for this. A temporary workaround is to add

(set-c-geo-linetype 0)
to your pesd_customize file. This will display construction geometry as full lines, which seems to fix this problem. BTW, I found this on a plain AccelEclipse board. The AccelEclipse II board only differs in some low-level bus interfacing circuitry, not in functionality.
There are rare cases where menu buttons appear to be depressed and their behavior can become a bit confusing. For example, when you move an NT window over the SD UI so that the closer button in the NT window's title bar is directly over a SD button, and then press the closer button, SD will see a button event and display its button as pressed (although it's not). This is not new in SD 6.0, however, and also not specific to any graphics board. Is this what you are seeing?
I have not been able to reproduce the other problems (2, 4 and 5). Maybe those happen only for specific models or configurations? Can you give us more details on those (models, session files, screenshots, configuration data...)?
Thanks,
Claus
