I would like to start writing macros in SD & Annotator. Where should I start? I need command references. There's no documentation on Annotators' commands!! I've been recording key strokes and saving them to files but I can only customize to a certain degree.

To write "macros" in SolidDesigner and Annotator you have to learn SD's Integration Kit and of course LISP to some extent. Take a look at file:/opt/PE/SolidDesigner/documentation/integration_kit/home.html (you might have to install the Integration Kit first - Note: you don't need a license for the Integration Kit if you don't want to compile your LISP code into object code.) This page is the entry page to the Integration Kit documentation. Here you learn all concepts including specific Annotator concept. With this and the use of the recorder you can write pretty complex "macros". A good learning book for LISP is: Introduction to Common LISP Taiichi Yuasa and Masami Hagiya Academic Press ISBN 0-12-774860-1 Good luck.
