I would like to know if someone has tested SD (v5.1 and 6) on a DELL Workstation 410 (PII with 128Mo RAM) with Intergraph Intense 3D Graphics Card 3410T. Does it work? What about performances? Thank you

I have been using the Dell 400 (300 MHz PII 512 Mb) with Fire GL 1000 Pro 8Mb running Versions 5.1 with HomeBrew and Version 6.00. This combination works exceptionally well for my designs at an attractive $172 price tag. The fully compliant Open GL graphics card was a leap ahead of the Matrox Millenium II card I had previously used.

I just got a Dell 410 with dual 400's and 512 meg's of ram with the 10K RPM HD and the Intergraph 3410T card. Needless to say I'm very happy with the system, after coming from an old 715/64 HP this systems screams. A layout that took 2 hrs. now takes 2 min. and the old system had all the special tweaks to help the layout time. The new Dell just has SD right out of the box! My old system had a Visualize24 card in it and I could tell a huge difference with the Intergraph while spining the model. By the way the old system has SD5.1 and the Dell has SD6.0.
