Can't find any tooling vendors

I can't find any tooling vendors (injection molds, casting, etc) who can use my SD files with me having to convert them to iges. Also one group here at my company is having to switch to ProE because they get big discounts if they send in ProE files instead of iges file. I don't want to be next to have to switch. Please help!!

It is true, there is a lot more vendors out there on Pro then Solid. One way to defuse the big discount issue is to be able to show how much is saved in man hours using Solid in development insted of Pro. I sure it must be well above any discount the tooler can give for a Pro file.

In real life situation to find a tooling house with the exact software and revision you company has will be difficult to do. Converting the file to IGES or STEP or SAT will be your best options. CoCreate Support can give you a list for the best way to adjust the settings of your solid model output for the major 3D software packages out there (Ex. SDRC, ProE, UG , etc...)
