Is there any improvement in performance if I have dual CPU's (P2-300) and if I use an AGP graphic card instead of Pci ? (matrox mill.2 with 16Mb )

Robert,
the AGP bus version of the Matrox board will probably not buy you much performance. The area where AGP is useful these days is where you are trying to handle large textures and transfer them over the bus. SolidDesigner does not use texture mapping, so there's no gain.
Dual-processor configuration can sometimes speed up graphics slightly since some of the CPU-bound rendering tasks tend to be processed on the second CPU then. Also, you will see some performance improvement when running SolidDesigner side by side with other integrated applications such as the annotation module or our Dynamic Viewer product. Operations in SolidDesigner itself, however, will not speed up when using a second CPU.
Claus
