Blends in 5.1

It was my understanding that the blend comand had been much improved in 5.10 However, I still more often then not get the "Can not fix geomerty after blend deletion" message when ever I try and modify a part with blends. The part is clean and the areas associated with the blends has not been modified.

It is correct that the blend remove/modify command was considerably enhanced in SD 5.1. It is now based on the technology also used in the "Cut" command which is much more powerful than the previous technology. However, a general "Cut" is a very complex task and therefore not fail safe. More work is going in that area. In particular, with SolidDesigner's next release both the generic "cut" will be improved and it will be much tighter integrated into the blend. In short, you'll see another drastic improvement in the blending in SD 6.0. If that's possible, I'd be very much interested in the data you mentioned in your message. We're currently collecting customer data which will serve as a "benchmark" for the next release of SD.
