With 5.10 when you go to transfer a layout that has already been updated in SolidDesigner to ME10 and you turn off the update button you lose the update you just genarated. This was not the case in previous versions and should be fixed.

Kurt, I just tried this and it works ok on my system. I don't have to turn off this button however. I have it set off by default. You can do that by adding the following to your pesd_customize file: (setf *DOCUMENTATION-AUTO-UPDATE-FLAG* :OFF) Another button by you might enjoy having ON by default is the Label button in the Create Blends menu. You can set that by default using: (modify_3d_default :auto_labelfdbk) in your pesd_customize file. Back to your posting - try setting the Update button off by default. If you still have the problem let me know. By the way, are you sure you manually updated the layout before you picked Transfer? If you forgot, then you will not get an updated layout during Transfer with the Update button set to off. And it will look just as you describe. Best Regards, Berney Coleman CoCreate

I am getting the same problem so it's not a fluke. I have to kee pthe update on even if I have already manually updated the layout (I know I did it b/c I can see the updated layout). ALso, if I turn the update button on, I have to manually switch to ME10 (minimize SD) where as before it used to jump automatically.
