Hi, I think you are working in Hp-ux 10.20 (or >9.05) you must install one patch PHSS_7574, when you have done it loock at /usr/lib/X11/extensions/db.sl if it exist you are in the rigth way. In /usr/lib/X11/X0devices must existe a line whit a talk to the device file, perhaps /dev/tty00. Then you only must put in the script : MELOCATOR=xinputextension HPHILDEVICE=FIRST_TABLET if you are working in windows only put in your script MELOCATORDRIVER=calcomp (yes calcomp) and MELOCATORPORT=com1 Regards from spain victor

I want to install a 5 year old Summasketch-III on Pentium 150 Mhz with PS/2 mouse. ME10 version is 8.0 and Calcomp driver for Win95 version 5.1 is used. Problem 1: both mouse and digitizer are active at the same time. Porblem 2: the pen button doesn't work properly. Who can help?

We tried to use serial tablet when we upgraded our sistems to new HP C110 models. The serial tablet is not reliable as the HIL was (i mean that many times it loses the pick). At the end we preferred to eliminate it an use the mouse (after having customized the screen menu). Best regards.
