Is anyone else experiencing the following problem when running ME10 on Win95 or WinNT?: After picking START PLOT on the Plot Menu the Windows Print manager comes up, always with the Default plotter settings. Now if you select anoter plotter you would think all the setting for the newly selected plotter would come over correctly. Well from what I see they don't. Usually the paper Orientation stays to what the default printer setting was and you manually have to go into the properties and set it correctly for the new printer. If anyone knows of a fix for this I would appreciate it. If not and you are having this problem also, please lets bend CoCreates ear about it and get it fixed. Other window programs work correctly why can't it work right in ME10?

Paul, This sounds like a Windows thing. In Windows you can go to Settings, Printers; this should bring up a window with your system printers, right click on the one you will be using for your design session and you can set it to be the default printer. This will save having to change the printer destination every time you print something. Also within this window you may be able to set the printer defaults, depending on the security settings of your system, sometimes sysops don't let users get creative with their own systems. Most Windows documents will save printer settings with the document, ME10 doesn't. Hope this helps. Dave

Paul, I forgot to remind you to reset the default printer setting when you are through. If you don't and you start a new document in Word, let's say, the Word document will grab the current default printer as it's default. Have you ever seen a Word document printed to fit on D-sized paper? Dave

YES- having problems with the ME10/windows plotting. We are working with an external C-program, that will fix the windowsprinter default settings. It should be possible then to have the same print/plot interface as with ME10/UNIX.
