OK, here's a common one. I'm trying to view drawings with KANJI on an english PC ME10 v8.0 I can display ok on unix, but on the PC, the kanji comes out as the undisplayable block. I've tried everything; the lang in me10.ini is set to japanese, all the fonts, both single and double byte are loaded, when I display fonts in the test menu, all the used fonts are also in the font's loaded menu. To make matters worse, if I edit the text, it displays fine. Can somebody suggest what I've missed? Thanks, Martin.

Set the LANG in autoexec.bat ! It should work . I have no problem reading a me10 drawing generated from Japanese on a english PC . But can someone tells me how to input the "diameter sign", "plus&minus"sign and the "degree" sign when my LANG=japanese .
