I need to modify machining thread blindhole depth (OSDM 11.6), after modified the 3D display is OK but annotation display isn・t correct. Why?

Did you update the drawing in Annotation?

Thanks.

I have updated the drawing in Annotation, but this problem also existence such as attached picture. That dimension can't display correct in Annotation after I modify machining thread blind hole depth.

Best Regard.

I assume you are using the Modify Machining menu to change the parameters on the threaded hole. If so, it appears that the threaded hole is deleted and recreated with the new parameters you specify. Thus the old elements that the dimension is attached to are deleted and the dimension is unattached after an Update. If you use Modify 3D Move and move the conical face at the bottom of the hole, the dimension remains associated.

Please send this to your Support center for futher analysis. In the meantime you have 3 options:

1. Simply reattach the dimension vertex to the model using Mod Dim in Annotation.
2. Rather than dimension the depth, transfer the 3d label using Annotation Transfer 3D Documentation. This label contains all the pertinent data for creating the hole.
3. Move the faces in the hole manually with Modify 3D Move.

Hope this helps

Since you updated your drawing in annotator, the dimension needs to be reattached to the thread. Modify dimension- modify dimension vertex, old point (old thread depth) to new point (new thread depth)
